Lakeshore Garden Club is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. For nearly 100 years we have been gathering and gardening at the north end of Lake Washington.

Our affiliations include Greater Seattle District Garden Clubs and Washington State Federated Garden Clubs.

Club goals and objectives

  • to make a study of the propagation and culture of flowers
  • to develop home gardens
  • to aid in the protection of native trees, flowers, and birds
  • to foster a spirit of reverence and love of the beauty in nature
  • to encourage the members and residents of this community to beautify their homes, parking strips, and roads with flowers and shrubs
  • to create and promote good fellowship among the members of the club

In support of our community we provide charitable donations and volunteer our gardening services to organizations including Edmonds Community College and Master Gardener.

Between September and April the Lakeshore Garden Club meets at 10:00AM on the second Tuesday of each month at the Lake Forest Park Presbyterian Church or at various nurseries and gardens in the greater Seattle area. Monthly programs include specialist lectures and demonstrations on various gardening topics. Our yearly calendar culminates in spring with our Annual Plant Sale and Field Trip. The club adjourns in the summer while members are busy working in their home gardens.

Club dues are $20 per year.
